5. In these times, everything is online. With that, it is easier for media companies to distribute their work. The significance of continuing development of digital media technology is beneficial for media institutions and audiences because social media and the internet has made accessing media instant. It also expands the audience of media institutions. People have access to more information, so the spread of the word of films or projects gets around faster and to more people than ever. However, if media institutions do not adapt to the changing conditions of technology, they will be the only ones suffering. They will fail because unfortunately for them, everyone is online and less inclined to reach for physical copies of the media.
